If anyone scrolls back and reads this, Oliver has committed to Dayton.

If Oakland can pull in Anderson, that would be a huge coup. Especially the way they've shown they could use a pure shooter.

Another big game and another blowout loss, that makes OU 3 for 3 in big games this year. That sweet 16 idea seems a little far fetched right now, should worry about getting to 16 wins. Still have MSU and Cuse for a chance to show we can play with the big boys, but as of right now looking highly unlikely those results will be any different.

Larry Wright was ice cold again shooting. Might be time to replace him in the starting lineup. Cushingberry hasn't been anything to write home about from a shooting standpoint this year and Eackles is still learning, might Drew Maynard get a start soon?

Oakland has always been a team that lives and dies by the 3 (and free throws). Though their best and most consistent performances have been when they can drive to the basket and have a low post game and then dish it out if need be.

Not sure what is up with Keith Benson, but against EMU and Hope he has gotten pushed around in the paint and looks less then aggressive. Benson was getting abused on defense by Justin Dobbins.

Also, I think they miss Kangas and haven't figured out who their jump shooter is yet. It needs to be Wright, but he did not look good against EMU. Even Cushingberry a normally decent 3pt shooter was off.

Lastily, Derick Nelson missed a TON of free throws, not to mention all his blown layups. He was getting to the basket, but had trouble converting. He had 20 pts, but could have easily had 35pts.

If Benson decides to get aggressive and they find a jump shooter they will be fine going into conference play / conference tournament. If not, its going to be another underachieving year for Kampe's Grizzlies.

I thought OU's big men got pushed around a bit by a much smaller team, especially in the first half. I believe Hope had out rebounded OU at the end of the first half. OU has to be stronger in the paint and go to the basket harder if they are going to live up to the early hype.

That remains a possibility. It all depends on how much time I spend here in 2010.
